We stand by the people who work, educate, care and keep our country running. Our policy belongs to employees, pensioners and families en and single parents; This particularly includes the majority of ours Population with international origin and women, and not the small elite of the upper ten thousand.

Rent and live

A home is more than just a roof over your head – it means safe safety, security and quality of life. That's why we fight for housing, that are affordable and worth living for everyone. Living should not be a luxury.

 

• Rent freeze

• Conversion of office space into living space

• Roof additions • Apprentice and student dormitories

• New building, e.g. Pfingstberg / Neues Nordend • Housing construction with the surrounding area (with infrastructure)

• Promoting cooperative housing construction

• Combating misappropriation and vacancies

• Absolute priority for social housing

• Public land may only be used for subsidized housing

• The task of a public general terms and conditions is to operate social housing.

• Significantly more municipal money for social housing

• Humane accommodation for refugees

Seniors

Seniors deserve more than just care – they deserve dignity, respect and participation. Community instead of loneliness – care with heart and respect. Growing old with dignity – making care humanely and culturally diverse.

• Inpatient care for the elderly is culturally oriented and sensitive and in common Facilities

• Outpatient care for the elderly (also) specialized according to origin/religion/world view

• Study trips and cultural trips for seniors

• Access to public services without or with a “digital barrier”. competent support

• Right to everyday cultural mobility, e.g. free entry to all cities local cultural institutions and free use of local transport

• Reintroduction of family and senior meetings

Transport and mobility

Mobility means social participation. That's why we are committed to safe, affordable, climate-friendly transport that is accessible to everyone.

• Bus & train tickets for €1

• Creation of a 2nd tram ring: As in other metropolises. (Orientation to living space planning and infrastructure, e.g. airport, main train station, major events)

• B levels: lighting for dark corners

• Cleanliness and safety at train stations

• Resident parking, extend permits to two years

• Subsidized “social bikes” for outer city districts and low-income households

• Infrastructure for electric cars • Promotion of car sharing

• Call buses

• Free tickets for people with low and middle incomes

• Student ID cards are recognized as travel tickets

• SUV tax or parking fees

• Local transport tax for large companies / job tickets

Children & young people

Children and young people need security, support and a community that offers them a good place to grow up and meaningful prospects. Education, participation and leisure activities that strengthen and support young people. We are committed to this.

• After the free daycare centers – now free crèches!

• Strengthen parental participation

• More places (ensuring local supplies / also bilingual offerings)

• Expand after-school care and afternoon care/increase participation

• More all-day schools – and the cuisine: natural and culturally sensitive

• in sports: opening of all school sports facilities / targeted increase in trainer fees! Young people want participation and support.

• Setting priorities and supporting youth associations and sports clubs using the following criteria: a.) integrative and educationally oriented b.) Culturally sensitive c.) Informative about values, religions and origins

• Education and participation:

a.) Propagation of the right to educational leave in all vocational schools

b.) Strengthening the position of the student council and youth representatives (e.g. via the DGB – Youth Council)

c.) Opening up foreign language offerings in schools

Health

Health is the most important thing we have. That's why we fight for medical care that remains accessible, affordable and humane for all people. Health should not be a privilege!

• Creation of more health contact points in the districts that can be reached without long waiting times, and expansion of meeting spaces for those affected, relatives and experts. This also includes free initial consultation.

• More public drinking water points

• Ensuring medical care for children from the university clinic and the pediatricians in private practice

• Age-appropriate sports and exercise options as well as barrier-free meeting places for seniors

• More green and exercise spaces (exercise course for young and old)

• Promoting popular sport - healthy daycare centers and schools

Peace

• The city of Frankfurt has no involvement in war simulation games Preparations for war

• Our clinics are there for births, children and sick people – not for military hospitals

• Promote international understanding through town twinning – also, for example Twin cities in Palestine and Russia.

• We do not save on municipal services of general interest for military personnel Upgrade!

• No advertising for the army and armaments in public spaces.
